SOUTHERN NMM

The establishment of the Network Maintenance Management of Opus International (M) Berhad, Southern Region office was in July 2002 when Opus International Consultant Sdn.Bhd was delegated the task as NMM

Since January to December 2003, in all, Southern Region Office has been able to keep pace with all other regions.It is believed that in a number of occasions Southern Region has even lead the other regions in producing prompt, accurate and quality reporting in conformance to the Integrated Management Systems i.e MS 9001:2000, MS ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 as well as reliable to the needs of the Management as well as the Clients.

Among others, the major activities involved are the Periodical Inspections of four major assets.

It namely Slope, Drainage, Structure (Bridge) and Pavement Periodical Inspection on slopes, drainage culverts, and bridges is the core maintenance activities that are being carried out throughout the year to determine and confirm the current conditions of these assets. Through systematic inspection, defects and deterioration can be identified and appropriate maintenance actions can be taken in a proper and systematic manner.

Southern Region office also operates as a management and supervision team for Heavy Repair Works under PLUS contract.
